Super easy to set up, sturdy, and fancy looking. Very happy with this purchaseI really like these types of gift boxes for so many reasons. They quickly and easily add style and elegance to ANY gift – whether it’s something high-end or just pairs of socks! I especially like these boxes for kids’ gifts. Today’s gifts for kids are typically packaged for showy displays on store shelves. They almost always have multiple parts and pieces but ultimately no box to put them all back into once you tear apart the retail packaging. Or, if you buy the gift online, they often come in a very low-quality, generic, banged-up cardboard box that just cheapens the whole gift.Tear all that packaging away, and use one of these boxes instead to nicely package the gift. Plus, you can preassemble any pieces, insert batteries, etc., so the kids can then play with the gift right out of the box. And – honestly – when I was a kid, I really cherished the gifts that came in their own nice boxes (like a wooden box or an old cigar box). It made the gifts feel so much more special to me, and it gave me a place to securely store those special gifts after every use. I still have a couple of those cigar and wooden boxes from my childhood to this day! (See the photos where I used this box to gift wrap a pair of foam-ring guns and lots of ammo for my neighbor’s kids.)These are also great boxes for any difficult-to-wrap gift or any gift that doesn’t come in its own nice packaging. This size is very roomy and will easily hold a four-inch high stack of magazines with room to spare. The elegance of these boxes also lends itself to high-end events like weddings, black-tie parties, New Year’s Eve parties, etc. And – even beyond gifts – they make great tools to organize with style, especially on shelves or counters in view. For example, you can hide your jumble of USB charging cords in one of these boxes. Or all your remote controls. Or paper and pens, or reading glasses with cleaning supplies, or coupons, or take-out menus, or on and on and on…!About my only complaint with this brand is that they are very shiny. This makes them look very elegant for something like groomsmen gift boxes, but for kids’ gifts or everyday organization, these boxes really show fingerprints.
